Don’t Forget to Budget for the Little Things!
Venue, catering, photographer, entertainment, videographer, florist, dress, transportation, wedding planner. CHECK! It is three months out and the invitations are sent! The wedding date is quickly approaching and miraculously I am still under budget.
Until I realize I went (WAY!) over budget in the last few weeks when I bought the last few things! This happens very often in the end of planning when all the details start to add up. These are the most common last minute details that can save you from overspending if they are added in from the beginning.
Champagne Flutes/Cake Knife and Server:
Make sure to include these on your bridal shower registry or ask the venue if you can use theirs if you don’t want to buy a pair! Vintage from parents always works too!
Place Cards:
Most venues require you to supply place cards, especially if there is a meal choice. These range greatly in price depending on how luxurious you want to go. DIY is always a great option for these!
Menu Cards:
The guests don’t really need to be informed what they are eating (hello free meal!) but menu cards add a nice touch of décor to fill up the table. Luckily, there are great websites out there that can do these for you!
Table Numbers:
Ask your venue first! They may have an awesome set that you can use for FREE. If that isn’t an option you can purchase from a website or go back to DIY.
Signs/Frames:
There are so many unique options when it comes to personalizing your wedding! You can add a wedding hash tag sign, welcome sign, bar sign, love story sign….there are a ton of ideas on Pinterest! Make sure you include these in your budget!

Wedding Party Gifts:
Your wedding party has been there through it all! Don’t forget to budget some $$ for your wedding party gifts. Etsy is my favorite place to shop for cute gifts for the guys or girls.
